It's great to see Nathan Enns getting more press for Fybersearch, the search engine the 19 yr. old built. In the latest article he mentions how he doesn't plan on going to college. I can't imagine he would have any fun sitting through "Intro to CS" courses along side students that are learning to compile their first programs. For someone so interested in search, I would suggest college as a great place to meet other like minded individuals. They can be a cauldron of programming creativity and you can't really build something like a search engine by yourself... oops... scratch that. You can and you already did.
I guess the only thing I can recommend is to go to college to meet girls.
Fybersearch has quickly produced their keyword advertising system since the last time I mentioned them and it looks like they are getting traction with some marketers.
On another note a quick search for "transmission" on fybersearch yields a much more authoritative site for rebuilt transmissions than google. So far so good.
(I've been looking for truck transmissions lately for a special project)
note: google still is my primary search engine, but I'm looking for something more resistant to www.this-is-link-farm-type-of-place-optimized-for-crawlers-with-lots-of-paid-links-with-the-keywords-you-searched-for.com
Google, Msn, Yahoo, A9, Jeeves, Fybersearch, etc... did you read that? That note was for you.
