The Casshern trailer was pointed out on a bunch of sites earlier this year. The trailer itself is one of the most bad-ass sci-fi trailers I've ever seen. Anyways, I finally saw a version with English subtitles which made more sense to me. Hopefully this means that there will be a subtitled version coming to the US. However, I found that the visual richness of the film is easier to fully appreciate if you don't have to keep glancing to the bottom of the screen, so multiple viewings are encouraged if you've never seen it before.
The version I saw is available on the Ed2k/Overnet network. I don't think there are any legal issues with passing it around, but I wouldn't really be the one to know.
