GMail account suprise

UPDATE: If you are Looking for a Gmail account, go to: GMailSwap

When I first registered my GMail account, the registration page recommended the user name "edward dot ho" which I accepted. I didn't really think at the time about how badly it would suck if someone else registered "edwardho".

As it turns out I don't have to worry about it. Apparently, Gmail automatically gave me both aliases and they are both the same account. So I can log in as either "edward dot ho" or "edwardho", and I can receive mail at both. I'm not really sure if they informed me of that at registration, but that is really cool of them to do that for us.

So I guess I'm edward.ho at gmail.com and edwardho at gmail.com

my name is liuhao. i used the username liuhao, rather than liu dot hao when i registed gmail. i got a surprice too but different from yours. here is it:

i can only login using liuhao, not liu dot hao. when i use the later one, system says username/password do not match.

my liuhao account can receive emails sent to liu dot hao from outside gmail. but when i send internal email from liuhao to liu dot hao within gmail, i dont receive it.

seems to me that liuhao and liu dot hao are two different accounts...
