Thinkpad warranty
My Thinkpad T42p is the best laptop I’ve ever owned and so I was saddened when I tried to turn it on and it wouldn’t boot. I’m getting a “Fan Error” instead of a post. In my mind I was thinking I was going to be stuck with a bill when getting it repaired, so I haven’t really been doing anything about it for a few days. However, I was surprised to find that my lovable T42 has a 3 year warranty and is covered until 2008. That’s just sweet considering that in 2008 the machine will be pretty out of date.
